Final Friday Fiesta FUNdraiser For Lyn

Attention ALL Mariners!
On the Final Friday Fiesta, which is on April 28th, VYC will also be raising funds for our very own Lyn to go to the Optinam North Americans which are being held in Antigua this July. Her parents are taking care of the extra training costs and her airfare but we will need to come up with $3,500.00. This is quite an honor as Lyn is 11 years old and this is her 3rd year of being asked to attend. Lyn is able to compete in the Opti’s until she is 15 years old so she has a long runway in which to achieve her goals in this fleet.
Please join us at 1700 for a cocktail hour followed by a pasta bar at 1800.
It goes without saying that all of the proceeds of the 600 peso pasta and salad bar are going to support our junior sailor and her aspirations at Optinam, and of course we are going to have a lot of fun raising these funds, right? It is, after all, what we ALWAYS do! 🙂
